Crochet Beginner 3-weeks course
Welcome to our Crochet Beginner 3-weeks course! Are you ready to learn the art of crochet and create beautiful handmade pieces? Join us at SLS Clinic for this in-person event where you'll be guided through the basics of crochet step by step.
This workshop focuses on the Granny Square and at least 2 items of crochet will be produced: a little pouch and a mug warmer. The Granny square is very versatile and can then be used to create so many different things. The course is run in a very small group, with only 6 persons max. All materials are provided. Several color of yarns will be available. Tea, coffee and handmade cake are included.
This workshop will run over 3-weeks to allow the students to work in between the workshops. There will be 3 sessions of 2-hours.
You will learn the following techniques:
- Holding a hook
- Magic ring
- Treble stitch and slip stitch
- Changing color
- Making a Granny Square
- Working in rounds
- Creating handles
- Weaving in ends
The workshop will take place on Saturdays 09/11/24, 16/11/24 and 30/11/24 from 3pm to 5pm at SLS Clinic.
