This year’s theme, “Adventure Begins at Your Library!” encourages children and teens to discover the world and other cultures through reading. The Summer Reading Program, open to youth from infants to young adults, features weekly programs, storytimes, a reading club, and more. In line with these efforts to encourage reading throughout the summer, the Florence County Library will offer special summer programs for grades 5K-5th held on Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the Joseph Stukes Meeting Room.Seating will be limited and must be reserved. Admission is free to all programs. Our last special summer program at the Florence County Library will be Critter Keeper. This exciting educational wildlife program offers children a unique opportunity to discover and explore a diverse range of animals. Children will delve
into fascinating details about various critters, from their habitats to their behaviors, and might even get an up-close encounter. Don’t miss this captivating and educational experience!
This event will take place on Wednesday, July 10th at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Florence County Library. Parents and caregivers can visit or call the children’s library at (843) 292-7382 starting July 3rd to reserve seating for this event. Registration will end on Tuesday, July 9th at 7:00 p.m.
