About this Event
Join The Critters on November 13th and have a recent work of yours given critical feedback by your artist peers AND FIG's Resident Artist Charley Frances! For the first time this Critters event will be in collaboration with and take place at Future Ink Graphics! Each artist is given 15-20 minutes in front of the whole group and the guest from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, with time after to chat amongst just peers.
About the Guest Artist:
Charley Frances is a self-taught artist who lives and works in Cleveland, Ohio. She first started her career in commercial murals and community driven public art in 2018 as the first American accepted into the Mural Arts Career Development Program in Toronto, Ontario. There she completed a three-month certification for emerging mural artists and public art project managers, as well as assisted in her first mural restoration based in Canada. Over the next seven years she specialized in site-specific public works in the U.S. to help inspire interaction within a community, especially projects that included youth participation or works intended for youth audiences. Some installation locations include Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Baltimore, MD; and Norfolk, VA. After having been nominated to serve a two year term on the Public Art Committee for the City of Cleveland (2023-2025), she continues to grow her studio practice and art partnerships with organizations like Cleveland Public Library.

Buy a critiquer spot ticket if you just want to contribute to the critique (limit 8). Bring artwork with you just in case! We may have time for you still at the end.
