About this Event
Join Alertus for an insightful Emergency Mass Notification Seminar and Training at Portland Community College from June 17 to 18, 2024. The first day will be held at Portland Community College Sylvania Campus. The second day will be held at the Portland Community College Rock Creek Campus in the Event Center.
During this complimentary two-day seminar, attendees will:
- Receive Technical Training and Activator and Console Overview (June 17)
- Gain the skills and knowledge for effective crisis communication
- Focus on managing the message and the principles of effective communication during disasters and emergencies
- Examine Codes and Compliance to better understand the regulatory requirements and compliance standards critical to emergency mass notification systems
- Have the opportunity to engage in Q&A’s with speakers and meaningful best practice sharing with emergency management peers
