Beau Jennings and the Tigers -
After years in Brooklyn fronting Americana rock band Cheyenne, singer-songwriter Beau Jennings was in search of a new backing band upon returning to his home in Oklahoma. The Tigers – based out of Norman and a wrecking crew of some of the best musicians in the state – were already known as the go-to backing band for songwriters from the area and were a perfect match for Jennings' new songs.
The Brothers Moore-
From Tulsa, Oklahoma, The Brothers Moore are led by brothers Billy and Bobby. They have cultivated a sound that is familiar yet distinctly unique, reminiscent of early Kings of Leon meets The Strokes & Queens of the Stone Age. The band opened for Dolly Parton at The Moody Theater at SXSW. In anticipation of the big show, they released two singles from the Nashville recording sessions, Run Wild and Boomtown. Following that, they spent time in Los Angeles, where they continued building with the award-winning songwriter and 4 Non-Blondes frontwoman Linda Perry, and are now recording new music with 6-time Grammy award-winning producer Vance Powell at his studio in Nashville.
VisitNorman and the Campus Corner Association are thrilled to introduce the Crimson Friday Concerts, a new and exciting addition to Norman's gameday tradition. As the University of Oklahoma transitions into the Southeastern Conference (SEC), this initiative aims to create an unforgettable experience for fans and visitors from across the nation.
Historic Campus Corner has long been the heart of gameday festivities, drawing over 83,000 fans to its streets each football weekend. With the introduction of the Crimson Friday Concerts and Pep Rally, this tradition is set to reach new heights. These concerts will take place every Friday before home games, transforming White Street and Asp Avenue into a vibrant celebration of music, school spirit, and community.
VisitNorman is pleased to announce HeyDay Entertainment as the official Stage Sponsor for the Crimson Friday Concerts. Their generous support helps ensure that these events deliver an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Embassy Suites in Norman, OEC Fiber, First United Bank, Norman Parks & Rec, Tinker Federal Credit Union, MYX Productions, and the historic Campus Corner district for their invaluable support and partnership.
