About this Event
Simon Mason is the author of the popular DI Ryan Wilkins series, set in Oxford. Books include A Killing in November, The Broken Afternoon & Lost & Never Found (released in paperback on 26th September). Mick Herron says: Simon Mason has created crime fiction's most entertaining double act in decades'
He'll be talking to Dave Harries about his books, as well as his brand new 'Finder' mysteries - short, elegant and intense literary crime novels featuring a nameless private detective tasked with cracking cold cases. The first two novels of this series - Missing Person: Alice, and The Case of the Lonely Accountant - are perfectly formed novellas, beautifully written but packing a real punch. Taking inspiration from Georges Simenon, they are designed to be read in a single sitting, leaving readers wanting more.
Don't miss the opportunity to hear this rising star of Crime fiction. The event is in the upstairs room of King Alfred's Head ('King Alf's) off the market square. So buy a drink at the bar and enjoy the talk and get a copy of one (or more!) signed by the author.
