We're much more active on Meetup, join us there! https://www.meetup.com/thewalkingsocialclub/events/304633307/?eventOrigin=group_events_list
Here we go again! Ever since the success of the Penrhys Pilgrimage challenge that we completed this year, people have been asking about the next one...
This year's fundraiser challenge is optional, with two circular routes. 26-miles/42.5 km or, 13-miles/21km. Both start at Crickhowell, over Table Mountain for lunch overlooking the Bannua Brechiniog, then back via the stunning canals. Check out the route on AllTrails (subject to tweaking) with waypoints for lots of scheduled stops, plus water and snack breaks.

For those wanting the shorter challenge, the alternative route marked out green on the AllTrails map will cut back to Crickhowell after mile 10m/16km. Please note you will have to separate from the group after and head back to Crickhowel for the last 3m/5km, so maybe ask in the comments to see if others want to join a splinter group before committing.
It's also going to be my 40th birthday weekend, so come and join me for a glass of fizz at the top! I've booked a night stay at the Dragon Inn to enjoy a meal and a few drinks without thinking about getting home after a very long one! Book a room and join me if you fancy.
Prices range from £100-150 with breakfast.

All proceeds go to the group's fundraiser -https://www.justgiving.com/page/thewalkingsocialclub, raising money for Woodland Trust, which owns and protects over one hundred woodlands in Wales and over one thousand across the UK, planting sustainable forests and protecting wildlife habitats.
Tickets are limited to 24 attendees, no guests, and no dogs. Please note that you must have attended at least one of our walking events to attend this walk.
⚠️
I may recce this walk before the event, but until then:
This is a recce walk, meaning you will be exploring this route with me for the first time.
If you want to attend, please attend with caution. I can not be sure of its hills or terrain. If you are uncomfortable with that idea, please do not attend.
