Join hundreds of community leaders & like-minded visionaries for an elegant evening of philanthropy, recognition, appreciation and celebration of making lasting positive impact and empowering individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and mental health needs live as high a quality of life as possible.
Specifically, funds raised from our 50th Gala & Champions of the Year philanthropic campaign will be used to address:
- Providing quality services and safe, secure & comfortable housing to help empower individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, mental health needs and support at-risk youth who are homeless, precariously housed and/or aging out of the foster care system to live as high a quality of life as possible.
- Research to develop programs to help individuals grow, change and recover from mental illness.
- Relentlessly finding innovative ways to increase and maintain adaptive living, social and coping skills, managing psychiatric/behavioral issues and learning and reinforcing behaviors that enhance functioning.

CRi CHAMPIONS OF THE YEAR PHILANTHROPIC CAMPAIGN
In honor of our 50th Anniversary, CRi presents Champions of the Year Philanthropic Campaign! This 12-week philanthropic initiative where community champions, just like you, come together to raise funds and awareness in support of our community in need.
Launched during our 50th Anniversary serving individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs, Champions Candidates and their hand-selected team members of all ages and from the states of Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia will compete to raise awareness and funds to ensure all individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs will forever be able to live and be cared for in a house full of heart regardless of their economic station in life.
who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of others! Candidates will be from all walks of life. The candidate will embark on this 12-week campaign that will start in June and end in August. The Champions of the Year celebration will be hosted on September 27 at the 50th Anniversary Gala & CRi Honors.
This will be an elegant evening of philanthropy, celebration, appreciation and recognition. We are counting on your support to help us continue to positively impact the lives of those with developmental disabilities and mental health needs for the next 50 years. Start today by
