As many of you know, taking care of the details of my mom's life has consumed me since last October. I won’t be able to make the trip to Boston for the Overnight Walk in June because of this 😭 and will choose a closer Community Walk this autumn, instead. This chapter of my life is winding down but will not be complete until this coming October (with awesome things to finally follow). Not wanting to postpone or cancel the July Crescent Cropportunity, I've decided to host a "NO FRILLS" event. This will allow us to still come together to craft, create, & raise money for the AFSP, just in a way that fits this weird chapter of my life. 💜
$20 PER PERSON til July 6. ($30 July 7-13, if available.) Ages 13-17 are also welcome with an accompanying adult. Your ticket price includes…
☆ 6-foot table all to yourself, with a padded chair in a well-lit, air-conditioned union hall.
☆ Plenty of bottled water & ice all day.
☆ One free raffle ticket.
☆ Table gift as a Thank You from me. ♡
Deadline to register is July 13. No refunds for cancellations after then. Payment can be made through PAYPAL at www.PayPal.me/KennaPope. Please use the Friends & Family option, and include a note with YOUR EMAIL. If you would prefer to pay by check, message me for my mailing address, and I'll follow up with registration questions.
PLEASE BRING:
♡ Your own crafting supplies & gear.
♡ Extension cords for your lamps or equipment.
♡ Beverages for yourself.
♡ Snacks to share. 😊 Closer to the event, I'll post a voluntarily sign-up sheet. (No crockpots or use of the fridge will be allowed.)
♡ Cash to purchase raffle tickets: $5 for 5 tix, $10 for 15, $25 for 50. Raffle prize values range from $20 to over $100!
WITH A TWIST 😉 (No Frills):
*No valets.
*No Paper Buffet nor White Elephant Sale.
*No catered meals. However, East Peoria's Levee District has dozens of restaurants just down the road.
*No Creative Memories table. However, I will have new catalogs available, and for website orders placed during July & August, 30% will be donated to AFSP. 😊
*No Vendor Area. If you want to use your table to sell your product or would like to promote your business in other ways, email me for details.
*NO SEATING CHART. Tables will be arranged in pods of 4. You can grab a pod for your group when you arrive, but you might have to include others to fill it up. :) Sewing machines will have priority on the north wall and will be labeled as such.
*No homemade cupcakes, but I'll still have a few treats for you. :)
*Instead of "Door Prize Dance Break", we'll have "Two Tickets to Paradise"! 😍 Throughout the day, I'll randomly draw names to win 2 free extra raffle tickets.
(Alcohol is NOT allowed at this event. My insurance rider doesn't cover that.)

I have been fundraising for this important organization since 2002. “Crescent Cropportunity” is named in memory of my soul-sister Kristina, who we lost to suicide in 2006, and the crescent moon was our sorority symbol. ♡
I'm SO grateful to all of you who keep coming back every year AND to those are trying us out for the first time! SEE YOU this summer!
