Gallery Show Opening 6-8pm"My Mother mentioned that she found some of my baby dolls in the attic and wondered if I wanted them. I didn’t think I did, but after seeing them, I knew their moldy eyes would make fabulous photographs. I’ve since added more dolls to my “Scary Babies” collection and continue to find situations to photograph them in. They’ve traveled more since then than they ever did! Enjoy!" - Stacie Bird
Stacie Bird is a photographer and multi-media artist who has lived in Central Pennsylvania since she started as a freshman at Penn State in the early 1980’s. She received her B. A. in Film in 1985.
Stacie worked at the University for over 20 years, before becoming a stay-at-home artist.
In addition to being on the artist registry for the Bellefonte Art Museum, she is a member of Art in Common of Altoona, the Clinton County Arts Council and curates the art for Elk Creek Cafe + Alehouse in Millheim.
