About this Event

Three amazing artists join together for a very special late show at Rudy's Jazz Room; fusion jazz and soul group Creek, the incredible vocalist Kristen Warren and the prodigious up and coming saxophonist Ryan Devlin.
Creek is a fusion group from Central Florida, merging jazz and swing music with funk, rock and soul that amounts to a sound the members refer to as “swamp-jazz.” Consisting of Daniel Tenbusch on piano/keyboards, Thomas Milovac on electric and upright bass and Ashton-Bailey-Gould on drums set, the groups members have toured with the likes of Ulysses Owens Jr. and the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and each bring with them a wide array of influences and compositional styles, from the sounds of D’Angelo to Coltrane.” - Daniel Tenbusch keyboard player for Creek
Kristen Warren is a traveling singer and songwriter hailing from Melbourne, FL. She brings golden serenades of Jazz standards, unexpected covers and her own original music to the stage. Kristen and CREEK have had the honor of headlining the Spacecoast music Festival in 2021. Kristen has performed original music for TEDTalks at TED studios NYC, as well as TED countdown in London, UK. She has also done a bit of the SOFAR circuit, performing at SOFAR NYC, Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa and Gainesville. The members of her backing band, CREEK, have extensive resumes of their own, including a tour with the famed Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Jacksonville Jazz Festival and countless other events and venues across the United States. Together Kristen Warren and CREEK masterfully combine the intricate technicality of Jazz and head-bobbing soul.
Ryan Devlin is a 27 year old saxophonist and private woodwind instructor living in Boston, MA. Ryan started his musical journey with his father Scott Devlin who was the leader of the Walt Disney World Sax Quartet. Music was always in the house when Ryan was a child. Since then Ryan has been practicing, gigging and teaching everyday! Ryan completed his Masters degree in Jazz Performance at The New England Conservatory in Boston, MA under the instruction of saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi in 2023 and has been a member and featured soloist in ensembles such as The Florida All State Jazz band, The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, The Orlando Jazz Orchestra. Ryan has toured a majority of the United States playing at famous jazz clubs like Smalls in NYC, Chris’ Jazz Cafe in Philly, and Timucua Arts Foundation in Orlando FL.. Ryan is also the 2017 winner of the Central Florida Jazz Society scholarship competition and was runner up in 2017 Bob Washington Jazz scholarship competition. Ryan has also performed with world class musicians like pianist Davis Whitfield Jr, pianist Mike Bond, Saxophonist Chad Lefkowitz Brown, saxophonist Steve Kortyka, saxophonist Dave Pollack, bassist Gene Perla, drummer Adam Nussbaum drummer Ulysses Owens Jr. just to name a few!
