About this Event
Join Little Falls Watershed Alliance for a fun family activity identifying critters in the Little Falls creek. We will have all the tools you need to capture and ID the bugs that live under water. Bring your smart phone (if you have one) as we will be using the Creek Critters app for this activity. We have smart phone covers so don’t worry about it getting wet. Wear water shoes or we also have boots to lend.
While all ages are welcome, this activity is especially interesting for second graders and older as they are able to easily use the app.
Please download the free Creek Critter app before the event to ensure that it works on your phone.
Parking is at the gravel parking lot at the corner of Little Falls Parkway and Mass Avenue in Bethesda. Cross Mass Avenue, enter the Park and walk downstream about a 1/4 mile to find us.
