**This class can be taken by anyone ages 12 and up, this includes middle schoolers, high schoolers and adults. At this point the motor skills it takes to draw have been fully developed and middle schoolers, high schoolers and adults can be taught the same set of skills. Everyone is always at a different starting point when it comes to drawing and you see this often in group classes. This class is suitable for beginners within that age range.**
Class Description: Learn the fundamentals of creature design. This class is an involved course where you will learn what it takes to make a believable creature. In order to do this you will have to develop your creatures anatomy. We will work through drawing the creature from its front, side and back, as well as design its skeleton. You will have to make decisions on your creatures habitat, food source, survival techniques and any lore about your creature.
**It is highly recommended that you take the Animal Anatomy that comes prior to this course. Understanding Animal Anatomy... as well as Human Anatomy will help you tremendously in the design of your creatures. Any knowledge of anatomy will. Of course you can take this course without the anatomy, taking it in the future will also help. If you have missed the anatomy course, they will come around again and will help you develop your future creatures better**
