Last summer we launched Creatives' Pier outside at Venice Island Performing Arts Center and it's finally time to bring it back! Unfortunately our June experience we had to move indoors due to the weather, but we can't wait for Tuesday, August 23rd!

"Doors" open at 6:45 PM to give everyone a chance to check in, drop their names in the various buckets to perform (if you so desire) & find a place to settle in for the night. Make sure to bring your own chair or blanket to be more comfortable for the show.
Open Mic Incognito Features Details
If you’re hoping to perform you need to arrive no later than 7:05 PM. We'll draw the names of the performers LOTTERY STYLE at 7:10 PM & the first performance will be at 7:15 PM.
We will have incognito features sprinkled throughout the night. Open Mic selections are made at random from the various buckets of artistry displayed as you enter the space. We will select 1-2 artists from each “genre” to be able to perform on the lineup. The night is designed intentionally to be cross-genre. We'll likely have time for 8-10 open artists to perform one piece each. At our last event we were able to curate space for 15 unique artists to perform. Basically, if there's extra time, we always throw up as many artists as we can.
Parking/Food
Parking is available at Venice Island with Kiosks at either end of the parking lot for just a few dollars. Public Transit is available to get there as well. Also within walking distance, Manayunk's Main Street boasts dozens of great restaurants to grab food from to enjoy on premises during the event or head to after the show.
Rain/Heat Location
If we need to move Creatives’ Pier due to rain or a severe heat index our alternative location is HighPointe Performance Venue, 6182 Ridge Ave Philadelphia, PA 19128. At Highpointe there is on-street parking and a parking lot behind that venue that are both easily accessible for a few dollars.
