Creatives Meet & Greet By Imani Lenz

Calling all creatives: I'm piloting a new series that aims to bring together creative folks from all experience levels in a mixer style setting to foster relationship building, collaboration, and community insight. This event is not just a meeting point but a launching pad for ideas and partnerships that extend beyond the immediate event in a fun laidback manner at Sprigs Studio in downtown Ybor City.

• 7:45pm-8:30pm: Mix, Connect & Get Creative

Overview:

The Commmunity Discussion will be a round table style open discussion that is filmed. Filming will help us to be able properly record and share your voice on social media to further spark conversation and connection. Bring good vibes and your voice! We want to hear from you on the evolving state of our creative community.

"Meet Imani Lee, also known as Imani Lenz, the community-focused founder of Black Stock Footage, LLC. As a seasoned videographer and photographer, Imani crafts impactful visuals that tell compelling stories and empower communities. Spotting a significant gap in quality stock footage representing Black cultures, Imani turned his passion for video production into a mission, developing Black Stock Footage into the premier source for culturally rich stock videos.

Beyond the lens, Imani is committed to community building and empowering local creatives and entrepreneurs. He fosters collaborations that push cultures forward, ensuring every project not only tells a story but also supports and elevates the community involved. His innovative work has earned accolades, including the NAACP Powershift Entrepreneur Grant from Shark Tank’s Daymond John and first place in a Microsoft for Startups pitch competition.

Imani also participated in Pharrell's Black Ambition Futurist accelerator program, which supports bold ideas from Black and Latinx entrepreneurs. Join Imani as he continues to weave visual narratives that empower and inspire, one frame at a time, even through his new music."
