Creatives Coming Together of course has been about bringing the creative community together. But really, for us itโs been about bringing the entire community together. This event is really working when it allows for people in the creative field to mingle and meet with everyone from every career field and walk of life. That's how growth, opportunities, and community happen.
If you have enjoyed the Tacos at our events, itโs always been Tacos Mexicanos. They have supported our events FOR FREE. Thats right. Every taco at our events was donated by Gabe at Tacos Mexicanos. Thatโs a lot of tacos.
Because they believed in what we did. That bringing the community together, loving each other and supporting each other is bigger than making a buck. We both wanted to use our little platforms for something bigger than us. Bigger than a studio. Bigger than tacos.
Gabeโs family is being pushed to move due to immigration status. Tacos Mexicanos had to push all funds to moving and keeping his family financially stable. With that move, and trying to stay open living back and forth in both Pensacola and Mexico, Gabe ultimately decided that the strain on their family wasnโt worth it and the finances didn't make sense.
Gabe, his family, and Tacos Mexicanos need us now. While tonightโs event is special for many reasons, I want us to rally around our friends and pillars of this community. I want us rally around the people who actually show up for one another, and get the job done. The immigrants.
EVERY DOLLAR donated tonight will be given to Gabe and his family to help them with their move and this transition in life. Help us shower this family in love as they make this difficult decision. And show them that no matter what, Pensacola welcomes you, and will always be a home to you.
Our goal is also to premiere a video that will help Gabe launch his next career path and showcase the love this community has for him.
And hey, when itโs safe to come back.. we hope you do. We love you Tacos Mexicanos family.
On a lighter note, this CCT is gonna be special for A LOT of reasons.

Save the date for our next Creatives Coming Together! It's the least stuffy networking meeting in town! Come meet creatives, artists, and business owners! Or just come hangout! There is ZERO obligation to network! Come enjoy live music, a featured artists and the creative community. Drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and food provided we just ask for a $10-$20 donation!
