Join us for our February meetup with speaker Patrick Crary! โ๏ธ 8am โ Coffee Served
๐ค 8:15am โ Program Begins
Our theme for February is CAMINO. It was chosen by our Oviedo chapter in Asturias, Spain and illustrated by Marta Vila.
Camino (pronounced Kah-Mee-Noh) is a Spanish word meaning โpathโ or โway.โ
Itโs inspired by the centuries-old pilgrimage of the Camino de Santiago, which passes through our region in Asturias and has been a symbol of journey, discovery, and transformation for generations.

Our Speaker: Patrick Crary
Patrick is a local artist, musician, mountain biker, trail builder, dog lover, and a proud father. You may have seen him navigating the streets on his bicycle, either commuting or heading to one of our singletrack trails in the Red River Valley. One of his favorite things to do is to introduce first-time trail users to a "new to them trail", as they discover this experience. Someone did it for him, and it changed his life. He prefers the forest over the pavement but enjoys anything that revolves on two wheels with the wind at his back.
His artisan signs can be seen in private homes, local restaurants, Maplelag resort (his favorite trail!), and along the trails he builds. He has completed a new trail in Fargo called the All American Trail North, weaving nature, whimsy, and unwinding serenity. He is just getting warmed up and hopes to bring a nature retreat directly to your front door.
His two-wheeled passion began many years ago, first pedaling his big wheel around and around the block. This led to a desire to seek out the legendary primitive trails along the Red River, aptly named "the double bubble" and "the cliff," among others. He has built trails in Gooseberry Park, Horn Park, Detroit Mountain, and, most recently, the A.A.T.N. He has a way of seeing what the landscape offers, and through his work, the landscape can be transformed into a flowing path providing an intimate, rejuvenating experience with nature.
