About this Event

Are you ready to race around the globe? Join Nat Harrison, author of the brilliant The Girl Who Raced the World, as she takes you on a thrilling literary voyage inspired by Jules Verne’s classic adventure Around the World in Eighty Days.

Discover the magic of exploration, travel, and friendship, and find out what inspired Nat to weave together one of the greatest adventure stories with a wonderful cast of characters. With a creative writing workshop, you’ll have fun writing about your own adventures and imagining new globe-trotting journeys, followed by a book signing with Nat.

Suitable for budding explorers and writers aged 8+ years

Paper and pencils will be provided but children are encouraged to bring their own writing books and pencils/pens.

The Child Book & Ticket bundle includes a copy of The Girl Who Raced the World (RRP £7.99), available for collection at the event.

Please especially note that ticket holders 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult but parents/guardians accompanying their children to this workshop do not require a ticket (one accompanying adult per child with ticket.)

The event may be filmed and photographed, as an attendee you consent to footage of you being used for promotional purposes.
