Join Creative Writing with Joy Winstead!
In this class, students will learn about two different types of poetry and use them to write two original pieces during the session. We will also explore other forms of creative writing beyond poetry and read a few examples together.
In addition, I will briefly discuss the self-publishing process and what to expect when you choose to self-publish. (Examples will be provided.)
What to Bring:
- A notebook (college-ruled or wide-ruled)
- Several pens
Included in the ticket price:
- One 16 oz drink of choice
Students should also come prepared with a few ideas or themes they would like to write about, such as nature, emotions, or travel. Please note that topics involving politics, racism, religion, or degrading content are not permitted.
