Join us for the first-ever Creative Writing Club Open Mic, hosted by local author and creative writing professor Keija Parssinen at the Granville Center for the Arts!We're celebrating the first anniversary of the launch of our Creative Writing Club by inviting club participants to take the stage and share their work. If you've ever come to a monthly meeting, you can take the stage! After we hear from participants, we'll open it up to any writers in the audience who would like to read! We welcome all kinds of writing--poetry, fiction, memoir, essays, songs--so long as you keep it to less than five minutes!
Come to read, listen, and celebrate our creative writing community. This free event is open to all, so bring a friend and enjoy an afternoon of words, artistry, and connection.
Sign-ups will start at 2:45 pm. Light refreshments will be served!
