When was the last time you fell in love? Or the best time? Or the worst time?
And what if you wrote about this experience?
We all know that a love story does not have to take place between two people. It can be a love story about falling in love with yourself – eventually. Or falling for a new city in your life, or any other place, still, it can be between you and a perfect stranger on a bus, or your favourite coat or... you know better. Of course, it can be a story about your ex, too. Or why not about your future partner.
How I Fell in Love with…is a 4-week creative writing course that helps you to get at least one love story on paper. The story can be real or fantastic, or both. The course gives you a chance to share your experiences of life and love in a creative manner, with a small group of like-minded people. In a very safe and relaxed atmosphere. I promise.
This writing course most certainly bursts your creativity, strengthens your heart (no kidding), and can very likely give you some new perspectives. And new jokes, too.
For this to happen, we are going to meet on 4 Tuesdays in July at 18–20 at Rüütel and Matilda bookshop to read, discuss, share, and write.
For the first 3 weeks we explore and experiment writing love stories in different genres and from different angles, we also read texts by other authors, too. And our last meeting is for sharing longer stories, and giving each other feedback.
The course is suitable for writers of any level.
The course is facilitated by Berit Kaschan – a poet, writer and a bibliotherapist, who is endlessly curious about life. And how writing and reading can make it even better than it already is.
