Join The Listen Movement for a Free Workshop for PDX Creatives!
We are a nonprofit dedicated to empowering creatives to succeed and we are hosting free workshops in Portland, OR!
This months set of workshops has 3 categories:
Networking
"Know Thyself, Know Your Art"
Creative Roundtable (questions and discussion)
Please arrive on time. We wont have the ability to go back to get late arrivals up to speed.
During these workshops, members of the PDX community will use their experiences within their field to expand on the 3 categories.
What to Expect:
- Networking: Learn to connect meaningfully and understand the power of who you know. We will see different ways to build a steady network and how you can put yourself into the right rooms to meet the right people.
- Know Thyself, Know Your Art: Learn how to work WITH (not against) yourself as an artist/creative. Learn to understand yourself and gain skills that will help you follow your passions.
- Creative Roundtable: Engage with the group and ask questions to better understand different topics and how they may apply to you. This is a safe space for people to ask the questions that are needed to fully grasp topics and learn as smuch as possible.
These hands-on workshops will include actionable lessons, practice opportunities, and plenty of time to ask questions. Plus, enjoy complimentary food during the break!
What to Bring:
- Your phone, laptop, and/or notebook to take notes and engage fully in the interactive activities.
