Sunday, September 7th / 12:30-4:30pm
Course Description:
In this hands-on, four-hour workshop, students will dive into the art of wire wrapping to create their own 2D and 3D animal sculptures. The class will begin with an introduction to the essential tools and materials, with guidance on basic techniques to help bring your designs to life. Whether you’re new to wire work or looking to sharpen your skills, individual assistance will be provided throughout the class to support you at every step. Suitable for ages 8 through adult.

About the Artist:
For over 50 years, I’ve had the pleasure of participating in juried art and craft fairs across the country, delighting audiences of all ages with my whimsical wire creations. My work is deeply inspired by the world around me—shaped by personal observations, experiences, and unique interests.
Each piece is crafted entirely freehand using silver-plated and colored copper wire. I never use molds or jigs, which gives me the freedom to explore form and expression with spontaneity and creativity. More recently, I’ve been experimenting with motion, bringing my sculptures to life through hand-operated kinetic designs.
