About this Event
Workshops are an informal space to expand your creative practice and a safe space to connect with others doing the same. Session one explores how we can create sustainable creative practices whilst visualising big goals, Session Two explores ways of planning creative projects and using creativity to apply for experiences like employment and grants, Session Three is a collaboration with Fae The Wild, combining a guided nature exploration and inspired creation. Stay tuned for more information about Session Four : Exhibition Installation Experience.
The first hour of each session focuses on grounding into the circle, and sharing experiences with the themes of the week. The second hour is for creating something inspired by the themes and connecting with and closing the circle. Any type of creation is welcome, as long as it is contained to the circle and respects the space - a limited sample of mixed media supplies will be available, but we advise you to bring your own sketchbook or journal, and your favourite pens or supplies.
In collaboration with local artists and aligned businesses, attendees can enjoy and leave with a finished piece, connections, opened dialogues and inspiration, and some treats and gifts, each week.
The workshops are in collaboration with the upcoming December Exhibition - Cthonia : Soil And Sand Say Stay, by @sum.coconut.water
