About this Event
Drop in once a month to Royal Cornwall Museum for creative activities and a cup of tea. Bring your own creative projects or join in with ours. This group is open to all adults who may benefit from a calm and creative space.
The group takes place on the first Wednesday of each month 3 - 4pm, meet at the front desk. free, teas and coffees provided.

Wednesday 6th September - Collaborative nature painting
Create a group artwork inspired by Richard Long encompassing the Spirit of Cornwall.
Wednesday 4th October - Clay monuments
Create your own monument inspired by the Monuments and Landscapes exhibition at Royal Cornwall Museum.
Wednesday 1st November - Paper beads
Delve into the museum’s textile collection and create your own paper jewelry. Inspired by Costume Showcases exhibition.
Wednesday 6th December - Paper mâché decorations
Join for some creative festive celebrations and make some paper mâché decorations
Wednesday 10th January - Portraits in poems
Have a go at creative writing and create portraits from poetry.
Wednesday 7th February - Mineral magic part 1: Photography
Have a closer look at the minerals from our collection and great some photo masterpieces to be collaged.
Wednesday 6th March - Mineral magic part 2: Collage
Rework you photographs to create collages.
Wednesday 3rd April - Creating and curating
Join for a hands on session learning about how to display your artwork.
Wednesday 1st May - Mural mayhem
Help us design a May Day mural for the lift!
Wednesday 5th June - Creative social
Drop in to Royal Cornwall Museum for a celebration of all things creative. Bring your friends and family.
Wednesday 3rd July - Abstract artworks
Straw painting inspired by abstract artworks in the museum collection
Wednesday 7th August - Sketching from the stores
Have a go at sketching, inspired by artworks from the museum stores.
