Join us for a full day of creativity inspired by the Fens! You’ll enjoy four artist-led taster workshops (each one hour long), designed to give you a feel for the techniques and ideas explored in our full-length sessions.
It’s the perfect chance to experiment, play, and learn something new—all in a relaxed and inspiring setting.

Kelly Moore - Fen Flora Clay Trinket Dish
In this relaxing pottery session, you'll make two beautiful trinket dishes inspired by Fenland wildflowers. Learn the art of slab building and explore relief slip decoration using stencils to bring your wildflower designs to life. Your pieces will be fired twice to ensure a smooth, durable finish, and will be ready for collection within 4 weeks (or can be posted to you for a small fee)
Rose Croft - Drop Spun Fen Fleece Workshop
In this relaxed, introduction to drop spinning, you will learn how to transform local Fenland fleece into your own handspun yarn. You'll discover how fibre twists & strengthens into thread. Using locally sourced wool connects the process to the land and its traditions, making this a perfect session for beginners or anyone curious about the ancient craft of spinning.
Gillian Wing - Fen Inspired Nature Printing Workshop
Have you ever picked up a beautiful feather and wished you could make a print to frame or use for collage. Now is your chance to experiment with nature printing and achieve some great results.
Fiona Gurney - Fenland Landscape Mosaic Workshop
'Paint' a fen skyscape with broken china in a modern take on mosaic making. You'll learn how to cut and shape shards of china from vintage plates, and make a small picture, rich with colour and texture. All materials and tools supplied.
