�A bit about Pastel and Soul
I am a great believer in self-discovery and bringing communities together through art. Last year, I had the privilege of interviewing many everyday Aucklanders about their hopes and bringing them to life through watercolor paintings. I also ran free reflective workshops in parks during summer, which greatly impacted our local community.
Our attendees (myself included) have found these workshops to be really healing, as it provides a safe space to share what's on our hearts figuratively through art, offload, and inspire/encourage one another. No previous art experience required!
�Art Reflection Workshop:
Purpose: Self-discovery x Sharing through art
Venue: Manzana, – Creative Entrepreneurship Community, 47 High Street, Auckland CBD (Below Tatty's shop)
Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm
Flow of workshop:
-6.30pm: Door opens - mingle and light refreshment provided
-7.00pm: Official start - introduce reflection theme for the day and reflection commence (we appreciate attendees arrive and are seated by 7 pm to reduce disruption to the flow of the workshop)
-7.50pm: Share reflection process
-8.30pm: session ends
What to bring:
-An open heart
- Your paint supplies (traditional, digital...any medium is fine) *Don't worry if you don't have any material, we have supplies available for you :)
