Merritt Richmond will guide after school and out-of-school teachers in easy and creative ways to engage with students.
About this Event

Afterschool and out-of-school teachers, are you looking for simple, joyful, practical creativity infusions for your K-5th grade students? Join us at SCRAP as we explore creative reuse as a tool for decreasing stress, increasing student engagement, and adding quick hands-on elements to your teaching. We will discuss managing materials without a homebase, creating time-flexible opportunities for some students to go deep, and classroom management tools that minimize chaos and maximize learning.

Our Free Teacher Workshops qualify as Prop G Hours!

Workshop Timeline

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM | Workshop

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM | Wine, chat, and shop with your fellow teachers

*All teachers will receive $25 of materials for free!*

This event is free but make sure you get a ticket to reserve your spot!

If you're unable to attend, please cancel your ticket by May 13! We've had a lot of last minute no shows and need to have accurate counts for materials. Thank you!
