Enjoy a Friday night creating your own paintings, enjoy two glasses of wine and head out to the local restuarants, bars, and social clubs in Downtown Silver Spring! Bring yourself, invite your friends or bring your date, play in arts and head out to dine! (Registration Information Further Down)
Learn to create unique, abstract, and colorful paintings using the Dutch Pour Method.
Participants will enjoy Acrylic Pouring also known as "Fluid Art", and Play with color theory, using complementary, tertiary colors, or analogous color combinations across the canvas. Participants will manipulate the paints on the canvas by lifting and moving them. Also using a straw to blow the paint across the canvas, creating unique and creative textures and patterns in the pours.
Each piece will be different, no two will ever be the same. Whether attending alone or with friends this is super fun, super relaxing, and a great activity for everyone.
REGISTRATION:
You may register just yourself for $65.00.
If you want to bring a date or a friend, you can register them with yours receiving a 30% off discount for each person added. Please register them as an "Adult".
You can add up to 3 people (with the discount) to join this activity with you.
Note: If you are planning to have a friend or date attend, register them at the sametime as a discount will be given to additional people registered at the time of your registration.
Adults 21+ will have the option of enjoying two glasses of wine. There will only be 1 red and 1 white wine for a wine options. Everyone (whether an individual, friends, or a couple) will receive one 11x14 canvas and two 6x6 canvases. The 11x14 will be a collaborative activity for the couples (Friends may do a colloborative pour painting or have their own separate one). The canvas is a larger space to explore pouring techniques for individuals. No experience required. All Materials will be Provided.
