Gear up for the 4th edition of Creative Native vintage and Classic Motor Show taking place on 1 March 2025 at the historic James Hall Museum of Transport. The festival forms part of Arts Alive, the City of Joburg’s annual flagship programme. Please find attached the invitation.As part of the festivities, the James Hall Museum of Transport will showcase its valuable historic transport collection, artefacts and memorabilia through guided museum tours and an outdoor display of classic and vintage cars and motorbikes by various motor clubs and private collectors. This family fun day will be accompanied by a vintage market, live music entertainment, children’s activities and a variety of food stalls that will be selling all kinds of delectable food and refreshments. As part of our exciting programme, the museum will also avail its iconic 1952 London Bus for thrilling rides around town.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their picnic blankets, cushions, and chairs to enjoy the activities of the day in a relaxed environment.
This festival sets out to provide a platform for our local communities to learn about the city’s valuable history and heritage and also aims to encourage a museum-going culture.
Entrance is free, however online registration is compulsory.
