About this Event
Everyone is creative! Whether you’re a gardener, piano player, tattoo artist, poet, or enjoy taking photos, you’re using your imagination. In our rapidly changing world and organizations, creative leaders have an advantage. They inspire and empower their teams to seek innovative solutions to organizational issues. They know how to nurture the creative potential of their employees and co-workers. This workshop will spark new ways of seeing, thinking, and doing, encouraging more creative and effective approaches at work and in life.
Meet our Keynote Speakers:
Veronique Diriker, PhD, CFRE has worked extensively in the areas of leadership development, strategic planning, fundraising, advocacy, and community relations in higher education and nonprofit organizations, including serving for five years as the Chief Strategic Officer at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. She now serves as Senior Partner for StratACUMEN, a management consulting firm. Veronique is an artist in her free time and spirit. She believes high performing organizations build cultures of creativity and innovation.
Wendy Waller is an educator and professional mentor who served Wicomico County Public Schools for 32 years. She thrives on the creative challenge of organizing and implementing projects, most recently serving as a community coordinator for the 2017 and 2019 Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy free dental clinics, which provided vital services to 1400+ participants. Wendy believes art is a way of living, helping us fully express who we are and what we are here to do. Currently, she is pursuing her own creative growth through local art lessons, with a focus on bringing ancient symbols and patterns to life in ways that blend history, color, and new energy.
Complimentary coffee, tea and water will be available for your enjoyment.
Please arrive at 9am to enjoy networking. We will begin presentations at 9:15am.
