In the mornings we’ll learn how to stitch cute stuffies, dye fabric with batik techniques, and sew personalized pillows. This camp will give students the tools and inspiration to bring fiber arts projects to life. In the afternoons we’ll be inspired by the quirky collages of Henri Matisse, psychedelic floral patterns of the 1960s and 70s, and the bold lettering of today’s graphic artists. Campers will learn about color theory, principles of design, and explore various media such as embroidery, paper-cutting, watercolor, and acrylics.
