Welcome to Creative Hangout, an exciting FREE club tailored for young adults with disabilities and/or autism in Halton!
If you're between 16 to 25 and eager to try a variety of creative activities within a relaxed and supportive setting, then Creative Hangout is the perfect fit for you! Here, you'll unleash your creativity, forge new friendships, and explore a diverse range of engaging activities.
From animation, coding, and graphic design to crafting and electronics, the possibilities are endless! Plus, you'll have the opportunity to vote on what activities we explore each week. We're kicking things off with digital drawing and badge-making and from there, the choice is yours!
No prior experience is required for any activity, and all equipment will be provided by us. Our friendly tutors will be there to support you every step of the way.
Who can get involved?
This club is for young adults aged 16-25 from Halton who have a disability and/or Autism.
When is this club?
This club is made up of five, weekly, 2-hour sessions.
Wednesdays, 6th November - 4th December, 3:30 - 5:30 pm.
Where will the workshop take place?
Ashley High School, Cawfield Ave, Widnes, WA8 7HG
*You do not need to be a pupil at Ashley School to get involved in Creative Hangout.*
How much does it cost?
This project is funded by Halton Borough Council, therefore it is free to attend.
What equipment should I bring?
Digital Arts Box will bring all of the equipment needed to participate in this session.
