LOCAL CREATIVE GRANTS INFORMATION SESSION
Details:
Are you a Brisbane based artist, arts worker, cultural worker, creative producers or a not-for-profit community arts, historical or cultural organisation located in Brisbane?
You may be able to apply for funding with either the Creative Sparks Grant or the Lord Mayor's Creative Fellowship, if you are thinking of applying for either of these grants then this information session is designed for you.
1. The Creative Sparks Grants Program supports either individual creatives or not-for-profit community arts, historical or cultural organisations to create and present work that has a creative public outcome with up to $15,000 available per application!
OR
2. The Lord Mayor's Creative Fellowship supports individual Brisbane based creatives grow their creative careers with professional development opportunities either at home or overseas with up to $10,000 available per application !.
To help you prepare your grant application, Council is hosting a Creative Grants information session.
Interested? Join this upcoming in-person information session to get some tips on eligibility criteria, how to stand out from the crowd, budget pitfalls and writing that winning application.
Be prepared to apply for our Creative Grants Program, opening on Monday 18 November 2024 . Creative Sparks closes at 3pm on Wednesday 8 January 2025 and The Lord Mayor's Creative Fellowship closes at 3pm on Wednesday 15 January 2025.
Applicants can only apply for one of the above grants.
Information sessions are free to attend however you must register via Eventbrite. Once you register, you will be sent an email with your tickets for the session.
During this session, you will:
- Get a detailed overview of the two Grants program
- Find out about the programme’s eligibility criteria
- Receive tips on completing your application and support material
- Have the opportunity to ask questions
