About this Event
Join us at the Powell Branch for Creative Corner, where attendees will be encouraged to let loose and express themselves through art in creative activities. We will explore artistic methods and techniques through various art medias! Each month we will do a different activity, and materials will be provided. All skill levels welcome!
January 23: Treasure Magnets-This month's activity will be decorating bottle caps with charms and other embellishments. *This activity is dexterous and will be meticulous to some. It also involves a hot glue gun, so participants will need to be careful.
February 20: Mixed Media Posies - This mixed media artwork will be created using an assortment of supplies such as paints, stamp ink pads, scrap paper, and more.
March 20: Decoupage Jars - We will be upcycling glass jars and turning them into the perfect decoration for spring.
April 17: Watercolor Geodes - Learn how to use watercolors and salt to paint a geode.
