This workshop will bring you more PEACE OF MIND in a creative way with an overall more positive relationship with yourself.
No previous art experience required!
This workshop is run by an art therapist with over 5 years of experience in cultivating the creative process to connect deeper to ourselves and our daily lives. This workshop guides and holds space for you to explore creatively without judgement. Each night will have a theme that encourages building a loving relationship with yourself and how to be more at peace with being you.
What to expect in each session:
We will start with a creative exercise that you can replicate at home for yourself for art as self care. Then there will be a short (3-5 minute long) gentle guided meditation to help foster the creative experience followed by the art making process. Then there will be opportunities to share and connect with others (not required to share). This is not a clinical therapy group, but is intended to be therapeutic and relaxing. No formal art training is required! You can be a “newbie” ready to awaken your creativity or an artist looking to spark your playful love for creating again. All are welcome!
Bring your own art journal and preferred supplies, some options will be provided.

Supply ideas to bring: watercolors, pastels (oil or chalk), acrylic paints (smaller sets), canvas boards, canvas paper, sketch book, paper, Bristol board, pencils, charcoal, newspaper pad, crayons, and markers.
