About this Event

This one-day workshop is aimed at any therapist, counsellor or practitioner whose work will bring them into connection with clients emotionally, mentally and spiritually.Their lifelong commitment is to monitor their self-awareness in order to be aware of all the blind spots, buttons, biases and obstacles that coluld affect the quality of their work. Engaging in personal journaling can be olne of the most effective and meaningful ways of fulfilling this commitment.

This is an interactive, soulful and meaningful one day workshop that examines the many creative and inventive ways participants can approach journaling. There will be a significant number of readings from well-known and inspirational journals; a comprehensive look at the ethos and beliefs behind personal journaling; some rich and unusual exercises around journal entries;opportunities for exchanging ideas and approaches with others; and some inventive visualisations for possible journal use.

There will be tea, coffee, cake and mince pies provided. Aidan House has plenty of car parking spaces, is on a major bus route and is only a short distance from the Gateshead Stadium Metro Station.
