Indigo is a natural dye from plants that has been used to create deep, rich blues on textiles for centuries. It was the original dye for blue jeans!So, how do you create it and where does it comes from?
In this workshop we will be creating our own personal organic indigo vats you will take home and use for all those miniature dyeing needs. We will create exploratory samples and dig into the fascinating history and science of this dye!
(*Oh, and we will be naming our vats;) You will understand why during the workshop!)
