Join us on an in-person walk as we explore the hidden gems of Toronto's St. Lawrence Neighbourhood, once the Old Town of York.
About this Event

Walk through Toronto's history as we connect today's bustling city with remnants from the past. This walk provides a great introduction to the city for newcomers, with interesting and little-known stories for those who already call Toronto home.

As part of our partnership with StrollTO and our continued support of ShowLoveTO, we are happy to announce an extension of the 2021 tour season through November and December, with the presentation of eight unique tours. Tours are open to the public and offered free of charge, though pre-registration is required.

Starting Location: South end of Market Lane Park (149 King Street East)

End Location: St. Lawrence Market (93 Front Street East)

Length: This in-person tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.

Accessibility: Certain portions of this tour may include walking on uneven terrain. Due to ongoing construction in the area, tour accessibility may be affected. Please contact Heritage Toronto at [email protected] for more information.

We ask for your help and patience in making the experience as safe as possible for everyone. All tour events will follow Toronto Public Health guidelines and enhanced Heritage Toronto safety measures.

Each guest will receive an individual sound system to ensure physical distancing and improve the quality of the tour experience. Your system will be synced to a transmitter worn by the tour leader. It will sound like the tour leader is standing right next to you, even if you are 20 feet apart!
