Learn how to create editorial fashion portraits from concept to capture. In this hands-on workshop, Alida Bonifaz will guide you through the creative process of building a fashion portrait — from styling choices and directing your subject, to shaping light that communicates mood and emotion. Students will be invited to participate in styling, directing, and lighting decisions, with opportunities to get involved creatively throughout the shoot. Together, we’ll move beyond technical know-how into the artistry of creating images that feel at home in the pages of a magazine.This is an intermediate level class. Familiarity with shooting in manual mode is prerequisite.
