Spirituality and spiritual growth typically tend to be things people think about in terms of themselves as individuals, but how often do we think about the spiritual life and development of a family? Can developing a rich spiritual environment in which to build and nurture both ourselves, our families, and our loved ones help us all to lead happier, more meaningful lives?
Families come in all shapes and sizes, but no matter what your family looks like, we all seem to be continuously facing new challenges and dilemmas in today’s rapidly changing world that many of us don’t feel we necessarily have all the answers to. With so much uncertainty around us, what if one part of the solution could be found in building a spiritual foundation for our families to help better empower and prepare us for whatever we’re faced with? How might we think of spirituality as applicable to not just our internal development but to all of our external relationships as well? What spiritual principles can we apply within our families to create an environment in which each of us can thrive? What impact might that have on not just ourselves but on those around us, including other families?
