About this Event
Join us for a morning of PLAY and rest with art games! We're going to soak with Holy Spirit with some music worship to start this morning, then have a fun, relaxing, but rejuvenating time playing with visual art.
We'll be partnering with God as we incorporate intentional listening, creating with him. While there is no "final product", you might take home a collage, some samples of new techniques, and a belly with some light refreshments!
We'll play party games with art, such as musical chairs and some thing like "Exquisite Corpse". We'll probably play with bubble wrap and crayons!! What on earth are these games? Come find out! Some will integrate a prophetic art approach, but don't let that sound complicated. Some ready to play, with a painting shirt just in case. The one goal we aim for is to rejuvenate your heart with art play, and create an opportunity for God to speak in a unique way.
Taught by The Well Ministry for Creatives Art Track Leader Anna Barnhart, Anna as taught art classes across West Michigan and enjoys facilitating adults learn to play again. Her work includes her prophetic painting, studio painting, and can be found at local art shows and craft fairs.
No childcare provided, ages 12 and up with an adult. Leaving early if you need to is fine! All materials provided. RSVP to save your spot for food and materials.
$15 suggested donation for the Well Ministry for Creatives, and to cover costs.
