Who this is for:
This workshop is for Digital photographers who primarily shoot portraits with more modest and traditional lighting set ups. This workshop will help guide you through new methods to create moody and colorful images and allow you to learn new skills to set yourself apart and create in new ways!

What will be covered:
This workshop will begin with a ~60 min. introduction/presentation of the topics below, then we will begin the hands on portion allowing students to practice with the provided model*
Topics:
- Classic portrait setups (and when to break the rules)
- How to create mood using shadows, contrast, and color
- How to control and shape studio light with intention
- The difference between technical lighting and emotional lighting
What you'll need to bring:
Your own digital camera with working hot shoe!
SD card for digital!
A desire to learn!
This workshop will not dive deep into how lighting works, it is intended for those who have a basic foundation of general knowledge or greater who seek to further their skillset.
