About this Event
Whether you are 6 years old or 46 years old the feeling of your team scoring a goal never goes away. Here at Creating Intelligent Footballers we are always looking for different ways to make football fun. For our summer tournament we have come up with a concept based around scoring goals, lot of goals. C.I.F Goal Frenzy is tournament where there are no points at stake and goals alone will determine where you end up. The qualifiers- There will be 3 groups of 6 teams who will all play each other once, you can choose to play with a nominated goalkeeper or not. Nominating to go with the extra outfield player means that no player on your team will be allowed to use their hands in the area. Will you risk it in order to score more goals? Or will you play it safe in order not to concede? The group standings will be based on goals only, the more you score the higher chance you have to reach the promise land of the Champions League or you maybe looking at the Europa or Conference League. Either way no one goes home. Top 2 from each group will enter the Champions League, 3/4th the Europa and 5/6th the Conference.The second phase of the tournament you will again play each team once with the team who scores the most goals being awarded with a fantastic trophy for their efforts. There will be £2 charged to any adult spectator payable at the entrance to the 3G, Card payments will be accepted.
