To create takes courage. Personal or professional, your passion project will shine light and expose shadows. Let's hold space to explore it.
About this Event

What are you creating? How will your outward expression honor your inner self? Who will benefit when it's done? Through thoughtful prompts and connection with like-minded creators, you'll explore these questions for bringing your passion project to the world.

Maybe you're writing a memoir. Maybe your side business is taking shape. Or maybe this is your year to learn clarinet or transform that spare room into your tranquil oasis.

We don't know what you're creating, but we do know this: Your inner self wants to be heard! Finding a channel to express yourself builds confidence and breeds joy. And whether your project is personal or professional, somebody out there needs you.

But here's the thing: Shining a light reveals shadows. The outer world is messy, and so our our inner selves. For deep thinkers like us, creation is a chance to wrestle with this duality. On the other hand, it's also a chance to simplify: To get our project done, we must take action.

What to Expect

In this workshop, we'll explore the two sides of creation:

Part 1. The Outer Side of Creating. Suzi Hunn will facilitate a discussion on what we're creating and why. Through her story of publishing a book, she'll encourage you to dream about your own passion project. By diving into Suzi's craft supplies, integrate mind and body through journaling.

Part 2. The Inner Side of Creating. Reverend Wendy Vie will facilitate a discussion on the inner life. Through her story of pivoting her role as a pastor, she'll prompt you to explore the light and shadows of your true self. Discover Wendy's favorite songs, and explore how yours can help you co-create with the divine.

Your Facilitators

Suzi Hunn founded Teach Your Thing in 2017 to help small businesses amplify their impact. Her specialty is helping clients distill their knowledge into engaging workshops and courses.

She has more than 20 years of experience developing learning tools in the nonprofit sector, educational organizations, and corporate groups. As an educator at the Minnesota Historical Society, her largest project was coordinating the 2nd edition of Northern Lights, a history curriculum used by 70,000 sixth graders, in every county of the state.

She lives by the rallying cry, “You have medicine that you must own.” Her mission is to combine education and entrepreneurship to empower more of us to do just that.

Wendy Vie is Guide, coach, pastor, and creator of Inside Out Spirituality.

I help people transform their lives by balancing their inner life, self, and outer world in a way that is soulful, spiritual, and betters the world one life at a time.

I'm most proud of creating a new life following 50+ years of gender dysphoria and mental health struggles.

I love immersing myself in rock and pop music, finding life and universal wisdom. My name comes from two of my favorite songs, "Born to Run" by Bruce Springsteen and Edith Piaf's "La Vie en Rose."
