Join The Artsy Cat & Make Me Brand New for an evening of creative fun! On January 23rd, Catherine from The Artsy Cat will be hosting an event to make Forever Gardens. Forever Gardens are a 100% recycled/upcycled project leaving you with a beautiful piece to take home and cherish.
Each person will be given a jar to start. These jars were once candle jars & have been cleaned of any leftover wax. You will then be able to choose a color of sand or rocks & choose from several different succulents, mushrooms, buddhas, Christmas trees, pumpkins, & tombstones to arrange & make your forever garden. These items are made from that leftover wax in your candles after the wick burns out. Catherine personally melted them down, poured into silicone molds, & with some she even colored with old eyeshadow or crayon.
As long as you don’t put your garden in the direct sunlight or on a heater, they are a beautiful plant you will never have to take care of & will never die.
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting out, this workshop is designed to meet you at your creative level. Make a one-of-a-kind piece, a heartfelt gift, or a keepsake to treasure for years to come.
