About this Event
All sessions will start by 5 minutes past the posted start of the class time, to keep from delaying our punctual attendees waiting and causing our instructors to get behind in our busy studio schedule. Please check your GPS route day of for your best route to our GAI Studio.
Enter at Indy Fused Glass or at The MAIN Entry is a single man door BESIDE a business named Indy Fused Glass. Please follow the signage once you enter. There is a Silver Sign above this door listing some of the businesses inside the Factory Arts District building. There is a ground level parking lot directly across from this door. GAI@FAC is halfway between Centerpoint Brewery and Fowling Warehouse.
To begin this workshop our instructors will guide you through studio safety, followed by a demonstration of the piece you will be making. Then working one-on-one alongside an instructor, we will gather molten glass from the furnace, add colorants of your choosing, then shape and sculpt molten glass. Your beautiful unique creation will have to cool down slowly and will be available to pick up a couple of days later. The studio can get hot, so please dress accordingly.
Cotton T-shirts and button downs.
Cotton pants or blue jeans.
Tennis shoes, walking shoes, hiking shoes. NO FLIPFLOPS OR HIGH HEELS.
No loose flowy clothing.
No yoga gear. No workout clothing. No nylon or synthetic clothing.
If you have a personal pair of safety glasses or prescription glasses, please bring them. Otherwise, we have some glasses to lend out in the studio.
You must be 10 years of age or older to participate.

Cancellation and Refund Policies
Here at Glass Arts Indiana, we value you and your business and want to create an environment that is safe and conducive to learning, while having an enjoyable time. We acknowledge that life events out of your control will happen, so if one should arise, please notify us at your earliest opportunity.
The following are the policies regarding cancelling a reservation:
If You Have Booked Class Time Through Eventbrite or the Studio:
-100% Refund with 7 or more days’ notice (no EventBrite processing fee will be refunded)
- 0% refunded with 6 or fewer days’ notice.
If GAI decides to hold your ticket value due illness or a family emergency THIS VALUE will ONLY BE HELD FOR 4 months from EVENT DATE.
No dollar value will be carried beyond this time frame.
