About this Event
The CREATE Program will present the Westside Gateway (WA1) project and future opportunities. The project will improve a 1.9 mile long segment of the Union Pacific rail line along Rockwell Avenue between Fulton Street and 16th Street. Work includes:
- Concrete & Asphalt Work
- Landscaping
- Traffic Control
- Grading & Excavating
- Structural Repair & Removal
- Stormwater & Sewer Repair

Directions: Dan Ryan to Exit 59C, east on 71st Street, south on South Champlain, east on 73rd Street, north on South Cottage Grove Avenue passed the closed street signs/security barricades erected under the Chicago Skyway. The security gate will NOT be open to access the site from South Chicago Avenue (north side of construction site). Google Maps would direct that way if you place 7200 South Cottage Grove Avenue as the location
