Join us for a gentle, grounding workshop where you'll craft your own herb bundle using plants like sage, lavender, and other aromatic herbs. Together, we’ll explore the history of herbal smoke across various cultures, and how we can create personal rituals rooted in mindfulness and respect.
You'll be guided in setting your own intention-whether it's for clearing stagnant energy, welcoming something new, or simply pausing to connect with nature. This is not a smudging or ceremonial practice, but rather a personal and creative way to work with the healing qualities of plants.
In addition to making an herb bundle, you’ll also have the option to create a plant-based smudging spray using essential oils of the same herbs. This is a great alternative for those who prefer not to burn anything, offering a gentle, smoke-free way to bring clarity and calm into your space.
All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your own handmade herb bundle (and/or smudging spray) along with tips on how to use them safely and respectfully in your own space.
Note: While many cultures around the world have used herbs for cleansing and spiritual purposes, some practices-such as Indigenous smudging rituals-are sacred and specific to those communities. In this workshop, we honor those traditions by not appropriating them, and instead focus on personal ritual, mindfulness, and universal respect for the plants we work with.
