About this Event
There are huge benefits to having a pond of any size in your garden. Whether it is a simple bucket pond or something larger, this water source will attract a delightful variety of wildlife to benefit you and your surroundings. From frogs and pollinators to birds and dragonflies, wildlife will be drawn into your garden.
Autumn is the perfect time of year to plan and create a pond. This course will provide all of the knowledge and insight needed to begin this ecologically important project.
Through classroom instruction and time spent pond dipping, you will gain an understanding of how to attract the aquatic wildlife that could gravitate towards your new water source. Your tutor, Paul Ritchie, will also take you to the variety of ponds at Nower Wood to inform, instruct and inspire you.
